Preparation for Math Accuplacer
Anoka-Ramsey Community College offers free Math Accuplacer Preparation Modules online.
The online Accuplacer Preparation Modules are designed to help students improve their math skills and knowledge
base prior to taking or re-taking the math portion of the Accuplacer placement test. The modules are also a great
way to review and practice particular math skills and concepts. The online modules are self-paced and allow students
the opportunity to focus on specific topics or explore all available modules.
What is the Accuplacer?
Accuplacer is the placement instrument used by the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System (MnSCU). The placement test
measures abilities in Reading, Writing, and Math. It also determines where a student starts in his/her college courses based
on individual placement results. To ensure placement at the optimum level and possibly avoid the requirement to take pre-college
level courses, we strongly encourage all students to prepare for the Accuplacer.
Who is eligible to use the Accuplacer Preparation Modules?
The online modules are free and available to anyone, including high school students, prospective college students,
and current Anoka-Ramsey students.
