PSEO: Junior or Senior High School Student

We’re glad you plan to attend Anoka-Ramsey! As a Postsecondary Enrollment Option (PSEO) student, you’ll find we offer many services to help you succeed.

Please consider attending a PSEO Information Session to learn more.

Here are the steps to become a junior or senior PSEO student.

  • Apply online for admission to the college. There is no cost to apply.

Once you have applied online, you need to submit the following before you will be accepted:

    • PSEO Notice of Student Registration form
      • Please print and complete this form, including a signature from your school counselor or administrator.
    • High School Transcripts
      • Including class rank and GPA. If your school does not use class rank/GPA, or you do not qualify with your class rank/GPA, you will need to submit a copy of a nationally standardized test score (Please see Academic Eligibility Requirements section below for examples of acceptable tests.)

    Mail all documents to:
    Anoka-Ramsey Community College
    ATT: PSEO Admissions
    300 Spirit River Dr S
    Cambridge, MN 55008

Please allow two weeks for your application to be processed. All applications are processed at the Cambridge Campus for both Coon Rapids Campus and Cambridge Campus students.

  • After you are admitted to Anoka-Ramsey, your next step is to take a placement test at the Coon Rapids or Cambridge Testing Center.

No appointment is needed. Just check the Testing Center schedules for walk-in testing times or call to confirm space availability:

    Coon Rapids Testing Center: 763-433-1180

    Cambridge Testing Center: 763-433-1980

You may substitute ACT scores for the placement test if your ACT was taken within the last two years and meets the minimum required section scores:

    • English: 18 or higher
    • Math: 22 or higher

To send your ACT scores to Anoka-Ramsey, you can either submit an official high school transcript (which includes your ACT scores) to us at the address below, or have your scores sent from ACT by visiting www.actstudent.org/.

    Mail all documents to:
