Transfer Student - Fall 2021 - Anoka Ramsey Community College

Know your StarID and password.
Send all official college transcripts to Anoka-Ramsey, along with any AP/IB scores.
- For all non-Minnesota State College System schools, have an official transcript sent to Anoka-Ramsey's Records Office for evaluation. Refer to Step 2 in the Transfer Student Admissions Steps for specific mailing instructions.
- To request that your transcript be pulled from another Minnesota State College: Click here and select the "Minnesota State Transcript Retrieval eform" link.
Determine your placement for classes.
- Review what can be used for course placement and complete the Course Placement Evaluation Request on the Testing Center's Webpage.

Complete the Pre-Orientation Checklist above.
Click and complete the Transfer Online Orientation Request Survey. Within 2 business days:
- You will receive access and instructions to Online Orientation via email.
- If some of your pre-orientation steps are incomplete, you may be contacted.
Login and complete all sections and quizzes of Online Orientation through your Desire2Learn (D2L) portal.
- Once you have completed Online Orientation, you will be assigned an academic advisor and will be invited via email to schedule an appointment with them.
Use the scheduling link in this email to schedule a Post-Orientation Advising Appointment.
Meet with your academic advisor to plan and select classes and outline final steps to complete for fall semester.
