Art Transfer Pathway AFA

From drawing, painting, and printmaking to ceramics, sculpture, glassblowing, photography, and digital design, Anoka-Ramsey’s Art AFA program offers a wide range of studio experiences. Students can experiment across mediums or specialize in their passion, all while working in a dedicated visual arts building on the Coon Rapids Campus with professional studio spaces designed for creativity and innovation.

At Anoka-Ramsey, your classroom is a fully equipped creative space. From firing ceramics in a woodfire and soda kiln to shaping molten glass in Minnesota’s only glassblowing and stained-glass courses, you’ll experience techniques few community colleges offer. Explore photography in an advanced darkroom, pour bronze in sculpture, and bring ideas to life with laser cutting and 3D printing. Every course is studio-driven, giving you real-world skills in a collaborative, inspiring environment.
