InternshipsInternships give you an opportunity to learn and explore your choice of careers in a hands-on experience. You will see first hand what skills are needed to function in a given job setting. It is helpful if you have had related work or volunteer experience and some academic training before you enroll in CAOR 2297, Cooperative Education. Students must have completed 20 semester credits or more depending on their intern field. Some internships are paid and others are not. You will spend 75 hours for each two (2) credits you take per semester. You may take two (2) credits one semester and four (4) credits in another semester or a maximum of eight (8) in one semester depending on your class schedule.
