Career Development
Process
 |
The process of career development can be
both exciting and intimidating at the same
time. Like many worthwhile endeavors
the trick is to take it one step at a time.
We view career development as a life-long
process. So we are glad that you are learning
how to successfully negotiate this process
now! |
Career development involves a four-step procedure
that includes self
assessment, occupational
research, educational
research, and job
hunting strategies.
Remember, this is not a formal assessment of your
career development needs. To get a more comprehensive
assessment, make an appointment with an Anoka-Ramsey
counselor by calling 763.433.1840 (Cambridge campus)
or 763.433.1230 (Coon Rapids campus), or contact
a counselor at your current school.

Most people change jobs,
on average, 7 times during
their lifetime. So you may go through this
process a number of times in the years ahead. |
