CHAPTER 1: ORGANIZATION AND ADMINISTRATION

PROCEDURE 1A.11/11 - Hours of Service
for Policy 1A.11

Scheduling campus activities for Saturday afternoon and Sundays should be kept to a minimum.
The college unit scheduling an activity outside of the operational hours is responsible for the provision of administrative supervision.
Any use of the Performing Arts Center or Fine Arts Building on the Coon Rapids Campus or the control room attached to the Lecture Hall on the Cambridge Campus requires technical and/or administrative supervision.
Typically, a maintenance staff member must be on campus at any time when any portion of either campus is being used.
Security, Maintenance and Information Center employees are all on duty during the hours of building operation. All calls are forwarded to the Information Center when the Switchboard is not on duty.
Anoka-Ramsey instructors conducting an activity on campus during non-operational hours can serve as the supervisor for periods when single events are scheduled.
Activities and classes will not be scheduled on campus during threeday holiday weekends or on other official holidays, Minnesota Education Associattion (MEA) break, or Faculty Development Days without approval of the president or the president’s designee.
Summer hours may vary.
Orientations scheduled outside of normal service hours shall be approved one month in advance of the start of the semester.

An Administrator or Designée is scheduled to be on duty for all special events

Note: Administrative representatives from Educational Services should be available at the following evening times:

Open for registration and orientation sessions

First six days/evenings of the semester, including the first Saturday

Administrative representatives are scheduled to be on duty at all special events.

Service areas not listed below are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to
4:30 p.m. Summer hours may vary.
