Procedure 4B.1/12 Comprehensive Faculty Appraisal Rotation

Per Minnesota Statute 43A.20 Performance Appraisal and Pay, all faculty and staff are evaluated on an annual basis. Annual evaluations may include but are not limited to student course evaluations and faculty self evaluations.

Rotation of Faculty for Appraisal

The Faculty Performance Appraisal Procedure provides for unlimited faculty member appraisal every third year with the following exceptions:

  1. New faculty members will be evaluated each year of probation.
  2. Either the faculty member or the previous evaluating supervisor may require more frequent appraisals.
  3. Due to leaves of absence, adjustments may be made to the rotation schedule.
