You can now earn a certificate in Customer Service at Anoka-Ramsey Community College.

Good customer service is the lifeblood of any business and is an integral part of our job. Good customer service is all about bringing customers back and sending them away happy – happy enough to pass positive feedback about your business along to others, who may then try the product or service you offer for themselves and in their turn become repeat customers.

  • Work Better, Stress Less
    Every day, you're judged by your ability to manage projects, priorities and deadlines. Develop the understanding, skills, and confidence to put your personal and organizational strategies into action. Learn time management, change management and stress management techniques, specifically determining your role and responsibilities, prioritizing time and activities, enhancing your ability to act proactively and with independence, dealing with change demands and developing strategies to prevent, reduce and manage stress.

  • Influencing People when You are Not in Charge
    Whether you're interacting with colleagues, subordinates or management, gaining respect and cultivating influence are absolutely essential to your  effectiveness as an administrative professional. Focus on the key elements of influencing others and improving workplace relationships, specifically  teambuilding, enhancing communication strategies of others, coping with difficult people and utilizing conflict management techniques.
