Students in the exhibit are pursuing an associate in Fine Arts (AFA) degree, which was initiated four years ago at Anoka-Ramsey. In addition to a challenging curriculum of art courses, the college’s Art Department also promotes exhibitions as an important component in the life of a professional artist. Currently, there are more than 80 declared AFA students at Anoka-Ramsey and most decide to further their art educations in colleges throughout the country.
