Anoka-Ramsey Community College Coon Rapids Campus Foundation annual scholarship fundraiser, Prairie Home Delights, is set for Thursday, Oct. 8, 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Courtyards of Andover in Andover, Minn.

This event is vital to funding student scholarships, which are increasing important in the current economic situation.

Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door. The event includes silent and live auctions, live music and mingling, delicious hors d’oeuvres, entrée and dessert samples and wine tasting.

Area businesses, organizations and individuals are invited to join current sponsors Anoka-Ramsey, Mercy & Unity Hospitals and Northeast Bank in support of education.

Support ranges from the contribution of goods and services for the auctions to becoming a full-fledged sponsor.
