College Ceramics Raffle to Support Student Art Scholarships, Dec. 2

November 18, 2009

In the tradition of student support, art work by Anoka-Ramsey Community College Art Faculty members, Mark Lambert and Mary Roettger, along with work by friends of the college, will be raffled to raise funds for the Perpetual Clay Scholarship, Wednesday, Dec. 2, 7 p.m., at the Coon Rapids Campus Rm. 272.

All tickets sold are guaranteed to win. Tickets sold for $50 are drawn first, followed by tickets for $20. Everyone purchasing a ticket will leave with an original piece of art.

Perpetual Clay Scholarship was so named because scholarship recipients are required to donate a piece of their own work to a future raffle to keep the funds in the scholarship at a certain level and insure it continues perpetually. The sale of recycled clay by the college Art Department also funds the scholarship.

For more information about the raffle/auction or to purchase a raffle ticket, call 763-433-1307. For more information about fine art offerings, including an associate in Fine Arts degree and events at Anoka-Ramsey Community College, visit www.AnokaRamsey.edu .

ARCC Wil Shynkaruk Ceramics work by Anoka-Ramsey Community College Art Faculty members Mark Lambert and Mary Roettger, along with work by friends of the college such as Will Shynkaruk (shown) will be raffled Wednesday, Dec. 2, 7 p.m., at the Coon Rapids Rm. 272. For more information or to purchase a raffle ticket, call 763-433-1307.
