Several Anoka-Ramsey Community College Art Faculty members will exhibit their work beginning Oct. 30 and running well into November in the Northrup King Building (1500 Jackson St. NE, Mpls.), which houses more than 150 working artists.
The Minnesota Women Ceramic Artists second annual juried exhibition will feature college ceramics Faculty member Mary Roettger’s art along with more than 40 other women ceramics artists. The opening reception will be held Friday, Oct. 30 and will include live music and refreshments. The exhibit will remain on display through Nov. 11 in the Northrup King Building third floor gallery.
After the opening reception, Roettger and the other ceramics artists in the juried exhibit will appear in the gallery to discuss their work: Thursday, Nov. 5 and Friday, Nov. 6, 5 to 10 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 7, noon to 8 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 8, noon to 5 p.m.
Anoka-Ramsey Art Faculty member, Anthony Marchetti is currently exhibiting his award-winning photography at the University of Minnesota Katherine E. Nash Gallery (405 21st Ave. S., Mpls.). The exhibition, titled "Here and Now," is open until Nov. 12.
The MNWCA and the Nash Gallery events are open to the public and admission is free.
