Changing Passwords


Network Passwords

Cambridge Campus
From a Windows 2000/XP computer:

  • Login to the computer
  • Press the Ctrl + Alt + Del keys, and click the Change Password button.
  • Ensure that ARCC_EDU is highlighted under resources on the left.
  • Enter your current password in the appropriate field on the right, and enter your new password twice.
  • Click the OK button and you should receive confirmation that your password has been changed.

Coon Rapids Campus
From a Windows 2000/XP computer:

  • Login to the computer
  • Press the Ctrl + Alt + Del keys, and click the Change Password button.
  • Ensure that ARCC_EDU and AN.CC.MN.US is highlighted under resources on the left.
  • Enter your current password in the appropriate field on the right, and enter your new password twice.
  • Click the OK button and you should receive confirmation that your password has been changed.

Changing Network Password from off-campus
If you know your current network password, you can reset it to a new password with this web form.


GroupWise Password

Using the GroupWise client software:

  • Login to the GroupWise client.
  • Click the Tools menu, and choose the Options option.
  • Double-click the Security icon.
  • Enter your current password in the Old Password field, and click the OK button.
  • If you entered the correct password, the New Password and Confirm New Password fields should become available. Enter your new password twice, and click the OK button.

Using GroupWise Web Access:

  • Login to the Web Access page (http://webmail.anokaramsey.edu/servlet/webacc).
  • Login the Web Access client.
  • Click the Options GroupWise Web Access Option Button button towards the top of the screen.
  • A new windows should appear. Enter your current password, and your new password twice in the appropriate fields, then click the Save button.
  • A "Password Saved" message should appear below the Save button. Click the Close button to close the Change Password browser window.

Central Services Web Ticket and FrontPage Passwords:

The Domain User Password Change form can be used to change your Web Ticket and FrontPage web passwords. If you login to computers on the Coon Rapids campus, it is highly recommended that you follow the instructions above to change your Web Ticket or FrontPage password.
